Geeta Taneja

 

• "Art is my obsession and the ultimate love of my life." 

• Geeta is a Distinguished Artist of 2020 from the city of Cupertino and Artist of the Year 2024 from Sunnyvale Art Club and Fremont Art Association.

• Geeta is recognized for her self-representing, contemporary, and impressionist style. 

• During her formal education for a Master of Art in India, she took training for 5 years with renowned Indian Artist Rameshwar Broota at Triveni Kala Institute in Delhi. 

• While traveling and living in different countries in Europe and Asia, she appreciated the diversity and uniqueness of art in different cultures across European countries, which is reflected in her paintings, apart from a great touch of Indian culture.  

• She had her first individual exhibition in June 2011 at Zenica, Bosnia. She has participated in many exhibitions in Europe and the United States. At present, she regularly participates in exhibitions in the Bay Area, California, and has won well-deserved awards.
