January 2025
Monthly Club Meeting -- Live Mandala Demonstration and Creation
In January, the club welcomed artist Sujata Tibrewala for an enriching workshop on mandala creation. Sujata introduced a fascinating modern approach, inviting members on a journey of inner exploration and artistic expression. The session began with a guided meditation, encouraging participants to gently quiet their minds and visualize their "happy place." As they delved deeper, members were invited to observe the subtle symbols and forms that emerged from their inner visions.
Sujata then demonstrated how to translate these images into tangible forms for the mandala
and the members were then able to create their own individual mandalas.
The results were a captivating array of unique and personal mandalas.
