Pei Liew

Pei Liew has been drawing and creating amazing art since childhood. It was no wonder that following high school, she was accepted into the prestigious and highly selective Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. After several internships at Los Angeles area design firms and upon graduation from the Art Center, Pei embarked on a graphic design career starting at Google in New York City, Nike in Portland, OR, and SquareSpace in New York City.
During the Covid pandemic, when throngs of people were exploring or revisiting their creative roots, Pei decided to follow a specific art passion of hers, and signed up for a 1 1/2-year long tattooing apprenticeship with a very talented professional tattoo artist located in the Bay Area. It didn't take long before her strong drawing skills catapulted her on her own successful career as a favorite tattooist for her very realistic, highly illustrative, and surrealistic-looking tattoo designs. Also among her specialties are being able to expertly draw straight lines when rendering architectural themes, and her skillful placement of tattoos to work into spaces surrounding other existing tattoos.
