I work mostly in oils and acrylics, and I’m especially drawn to landscapes and natural forms. Earth tones play a grounding role in my palette. I enjoy
the process of watching forms unfold on the canvas—often in ways that surprise and inspire me. I am experimenting with mixed media as well. Many of my pieces emerge as “happy accidents,” shaped more by spontaneity and instinct than by rigid planning. -
My journey into painting began over ten years ago through an unexpected encounter with a kind art teacher. I expressed a casual interest in learning, though I knew virtually nothing about the painting process at the time. I joined her art class. She gently guided me through my very first project—a 16x20 landscape. Her approach was simple: “Paint what you see.” To my surprise, the painting turned out beautifully. Over the next year, I painted somewhat consistently, building a small body of oil works. Then, life demanded my full attention, and art quietly took a back seat. Years later, I’ve found my way back—with a deeper appreciation for the calm and clarity it brings.

Painting has become a meaningful part of my life—one that I hope brings a sense of wonder, stillness, and joy to others as well. Thank you for visiting.
