We were thrilled to participate in the 2024 National Night Out, which took place in the vibrant SNAIL neighborhood. This was an exciting opportunity for us to connect with the community, showcase our club, and share our passion for art.

 

Our club had a dedicated table where we displayed brochures and engaged with event attendees. It was a fantastic chance for us to introduce SAC to new faces and invite art enthusiasts to join our creative family. For future events such as this, if you're a member interested in being an ambassador for our club, we welcome you to join us at the SAC table and represent our wonderful community to new neighborhoods!

 

In addition to our information booth, we hosted a variety of art activities designed to inspire kids and young adults. Thanks to the creative contributions of our talented members, we had a collection of snail illustrations ready for coloring. These fun and interactive activities sparked the imaginations of young artists and provided a delightful hands-on experience.

 

The SNAIL neighborhood hosted its annual National Night Out (NNO) Neighborhood International Potluck event on August 6, 2024, from 5:30PM to sundown. SNAIL’s National Night Out was a neighborhood community with good potluck food, music, fun and games, and a hometown spirit. SNAIL’s NNO is known by neighboring communities, elected officials, and city staff as being “the largest and most successful neighborhood event in the city of Sunnyvale” and “the most organized with the largest attendance” with permitted street closures on East Arbor Avenue between N. Bayview and Morse Avenues.
